Affogato is proof that dessert doesn’t need to be Affogato is proof that dessert doesn’t need to be complicated to be perfect 🤩

Cold gelato, hot espresso, one glorious pour. That’s it. That’s the whole masterpiece 🔥
.
I like vanilla gelato in affogate (a classic!), but chocolate, coffee, pistachio, or hazelnut would also be hits. And wouldn’t you know, I’ve got recipes for all of these, too! 😏

Coffee and cider in the same glass might sound une Coffee and cider in the same glass might sound unexpected… and that’s exactly why it works. Most cider coffees lean rich, spiced, and hot, but this iced version is crisp, lightly sweet, and just bitter enough to keep things interesting. It’s the kind of drink you’ll want to sip slowly on a warm morning, or whenever you need a little pick-me-up that tastes different ☀️
.
A couple of tips to make it really good: start with a cold, strong coffee (or espresso) so it doesn’t get watery right away, and choose a cider you actually like drinking on its own. Serve it over plenty of ice and enjoy!

How to Make Savory Madeleines 🐚 . Savory madeleine How to Make Savory Madeleines 🐚
.
Savory madeleines are such an addictive little apéro bite: tender, buttery, easy to grab, and just unexpected enough to wow your guests 😌 These savory treats are made for summer happy hour—set them out with olives, cornichons, cured meats, a few cheeses, and something cold to drink, and you’ve got the perfect pre-dinner situation 🥂
.
My savory madeleines are best served warm or at room temperature, which makes them super practical for hosting. Bake them earlier in the day, reheat briefly if you want that fresh-from-the-oven softness, then pile them onto a board and let everyone snack while dinner comes together.

Raspberry rose gelato is bright, creamy, and just Raspberry rose gelato is bright, creamy, and just floral enough to make the raspberries pop 🌹 The rose is subtle here, more of a soft background note than a perfumed punch, which is exactly what makes it work with tart summer berries.
.
This is a flavor where balance matters. Start gently with rose water or rose flavoring, taste the cold base, and adjust with restraint. Raspberries already bring plenty of personality, so the rose should lift the fruit rather than compete with it.

Prosciutto and Cherry Tomato Pizza ✨ . Prosciutto Prosciutto and Cherry Tomato Pizza ✨
.
Prosciutto on pizza is a little magic trick: you bake the crust and the base, then add the prosciutto at the end so it stays silky and delicate instead of turning into salty cardboard 😅 Add warm, blistered cherry tomatoes and a good drizzle of olive oil, and you’ve got a pizza that tastes like a summer dinner you’d happily repeat all week 😍
.
A couple of tips that make this one really shine: roast or bake the cherry tomatoes until they burst (that concentrated sweetness is everything), and let the pizza cool for a minute before adding the prosciutto so the heat doesn’t “cook” it. Finish with fresh basil or arugula if you’ve got it, plus black pepper, and don’t skip the extra drizzle of olive oil 👌🏼
